How has travel impacted your life and how has it changed you and your family life?

Travel has postivitely impacted my life. I’ve had the most amazing experiences during my travels, as well as learning experiences about other cultures and myself.

What has been your most favorite travel experience and why?

I loved climbing one of the biggest sand dunes in the world in Nambia. It was a bucklist goal as someone living in the Middle East and I was proud to accomplish it when I went several years ago.

Do you have any tips or advice for people who want to travel more?

One of the best choices I’ve made was moving abroad. It’s opened me up to more opportunties to travel already being out of my home country.

Why did you choose to relocate to Korea from the United States?

I was actually laid off from my job back in the States during the 2008 recession. I decided to move abroad in early 2009 when I became weary with the job search back home.

Why do you think it’s important for women to travel?

I think it’s important for women to travel because we shouldn’t live a life in fear. I’ve gained so much confidence in my travels, met amazing people, been opened to incredible experiences and more. The world is kinder than many want to believe. Get out there and see it for yourselves ladies.
