Guatemala, you have stolen my heart!

Hi everyone I’m back! I’m currently in Guatemala!

First off, this place is absolutely gorgeous! Little Italy is what I like to call it. What a lovely country.

I arrived here this past week and I have fallen in love with everything about this place!

I’m having the most amazing time in Guatemala and I want to give you all an update!

I am here working with a hostel and with a women’s school organization called Amris Mujeres and another organization called God’s Children.

I’ve been trying to find the words to express and describe how amazing this place truly is!

I met some cool flight attendants at the McDonalds in the city and they were so kind and friendly!
I talked to them about my time with Southwest Airlines inspired me in 2022 and how I have been traveling overseas the past year.

I also get to stay in Antigua for free by volunteering at a hostel! So I will be working with the school at the end of October but right now I’m in Antigua Guatemala working with an organization called Nuestros Ahijados / GOD’S CHILD Project in partnership with my hostel which is an amazing organization that works with young children here in Antigua Guatemala in an educational center!

The kids are wonderful and I get to read to them.

I call Antigua Little Italy because it’s so romantic.

I will start to share more videos of the city because it is absolutely incredible and I’m so happy here!

So fun fact I love Canadian poutine. I mentioned that I was here on threads and the owner of a Canadian French restaurant invited me!
